(I told her that I didn’t care if the book was short, medium, or long — or whether it took six months to produce, or a year, or five years: If she held one or two sessions a week, or one a month, it would still give her a book in the works, and she would have that comforting knowledge. [...]

[...] Jane finally admitted earlier today that she’s had only seven sessions since then because she didn’t want to make too much extra work for me while I’m busy with the complicated notes for that book. [...]

[...] I just didn’t have time for more than the barest of session notes. [...]

(4:13 p.m. For some reason I didn’t read the session to Jane. [...]

[...] I didn’t know how to respond. [...] I didn’t want to think about it. [...]

[...] I didn’t expect anything different tonight, but I have a feeling that whether you can take advantage of it or not, it represents a kind of turning point....” [...]

(She said that she also had images that she didn’t describe during the session: “I saw the Jews marching across the desert like in the Bible, and Moses leading them to the Promised Land. [...]

[...] She said she had grown used to the envelope experiments, and missed them now when we didn’t have them. [...]

[...] We didn’t find it and all three of us ended up embarrassed. [...]

[...] Jane searched the papers there but didn’t find the pointer. [...]

[...] The situation was like having a book before you that you were very interested in, yet you didn’t open the cover.

(Even so, through her school years Jane didn’t particularly talk about her thoughts, or the abilities she sensed within herself — not with her mother, the priests she came to know well [and who didn’t approve in any case if she carried her religious devotion, her mysticism, “too far”], or even with her grandfather. [...]

“I was going back to bed when my last lines suddenly reminded me that I still feel the way I did when I was a young girl; that some part of the dawn does come for me; personally; and that to some extent time didn’t exist before I was born. [...]

[...] He went along with it, which is very good, but he didn’t sustain it long enough so that he could distinguish the other tissue capsules which came within his own extended awareness.

[...] He just didn’t know what had happened to his Ruburt, that is all.

[...] She didn’t have it now that her eyes were open, yet the physical feeling of enlargement had been so strong there could be no doubt of it …

[...] It didn’t occur to us to label any of those events as “psychic” until the event of Idea Construction. [...]

[...] She didn’t have any questions in particular, though, even considering her upset over the session material. We’d also reread a group of sessions last night instead of having a session, but I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity for a session tonight, since it was getting later in the week.

[...] “The legs have been changing completely—I guess I didn’t tell you—both knees have sensations,” she said. [...]

(I don’t believe there has been a time when I didn’t have plenty of ideas. This has never been a problem with me personally, but I didn’t interrupt to make a point of this. [...]

[...] I thought the remarks would bring forth some response from Seth, but since a shorter session had been announced I didn’t think such a lengthy response would materialize.
