“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

[...] I later mentioned this dream in my first book in the field, How To Develop Your ESP Power. Even then, I had no idea that it would be only one of a series of psychic events involving Miss Cunningham, nor did I see its true significance in my own development.

[...] Much of this is the result of the limitations of the physical organism, but much more is the effect of the development of the ego, which attempts to set itself up and apart from action.

[...] She said that at this stage of her development it is very difficult for her to tell when such personal associations enter in, unless Seth himself notes it by saying “Ruburt here thinks of a photograph,” etc. [...]

[...] Any consciousness will develop and will learn. [...]

Instead you see, your individuality is used and developed. [...]

[...] In the beginning as an apprentice writer this was to allow him to develop.

[...] When it was rejected my book was developing. [...]

[...] Here the pace began to speed up as the two talked back and forth, and in the interests of spontaneity, and because this was a new development in the sessions, I made no attempt to slow Seth down, nor to record every word Seth or Dr. Instream spoke.

[...] An exchange now developed however, that was new to us in the sessions, involving Jane, Seth, Dr. Instream and myself. [...]

[...] His creative abilities were growing and developing, his concepts enlarging, but he was for some time so convinced of science’s viewpoint that the ideas of the Sinful Self were looked upon as unworthy and superstitious. [...]

[...] This lack is always with him, and it is caused by a particular shallow area in his personality that is not developed.

[...] Sometimes in a developed manner, or simply in plan form, but never in the same organized domineering fashion.

[...] He is onto something with his theory of Aspects, but the theory is not as yet fully developed. [...]

It is only when a schism develops that the overly conscientious self becomes quite unreasoning in its demands and expectations. [...]

[...] Each of your personalities are free to accept and develop, from the miraculous banks of reality, those experiences and emotions that you want, and to reject those you do not want.

[...] If those reasons change, or if inner psychic developments occur, (pause) then the physical eyes will be healed and the inner mechanism activated. [...]

[...] I asked that Seth comment on all of these developments, and why they were so painful for Jane.

[...] I mentioned this experience briefly in How To Develop Your ESP Power, but here I’m including Rob’s notes which provide a fuller version of the event and our attitude toward it at the time.

The camouflage is necessary at this stage of development — intricate, complicated, various and beyond the understanding of the outer senses, which are the perceptors of the camouflage itself, peculiarly adapted to see under particular circumstances … It is only the inner senses that will give you any evidence at all of the basic nature of life.

[...] As it developed in our envelope test tonight, this could be true. [...]

(Jane would like me to add here that she believes the envelope test data of this evening developed the way it did because of the emotional content of events involving Jane, Roy and myself. [...]

Much of the needed development takes place in the dream state. [...]

(This data is a little more specific than that on page 23, and the man reference concerns Dick; as stated Dick and Barbara visited a certain local pub, and an altercation developed between them because of this. [...]

[...] Other quite real, quite physical evidence — always, now, apparent in his body at any given time — is ignored as nonessential, too trivial to bother with, or take seriously, because it does not fit into the so-called rational picture that has been developed.

[...] Her comment reminded me of some material I’d written last month, and had mentioned to her a few times since — that over very long spans of time the earth and all of its creatures stay the same, relatively speaking, and that only human beings, with their ideas of ‘progress’ and ‘development’ change.

[...] This development is not an easy one, nor can it be rushed, nor can you expect it of yourself.

When such developments occur, then you have the awareness of the whole self, and the ego does not need to fear for its survival. [...]

[...] You must learn to recognize, develop, and use these Inner Senses. [...]

(She’s also developed a strange hearing problem in recent weeks. [...]
