As a rule you have enough difficulty dealing with the day’s occurrences, much less next week’s, and so in the sequence of events the reality of probable actions is usually hidden from your view. (Pause.) This more complex reality is an ever-existing property of your personal creaturehood. [...]

[...] What you see of form is only that part that can be effectively active or materialized within your system of reality. [...]

All of this may seem to have little to do with your daily personal experience, and yet it is intimately connected, for personally and en masse you can indeed create “the best” of all possible worlds.

You would have an individual who displayed within himself [or herself] all of those great abilities known to the race, fulfilled according to his own unique temper — the artist, mathematician, athlete, the inventor — all the extraordinary qualities of creaturedom; the emotional realities would be used to their capacity, and any of the racial qualities or characteristics of the species would be given their complete freedom.

[...] Existence forms its own reality. [...] With your physical senses you only recognize a small portion of reality. [...]

[...] When consciousness needs space in which to operate, it creates space. When it is resting it does not need space and it does not create it in these terms. [...]

The inner and outer egos do not have a cementlike relationship, but can interrelate with each other in almost infinite fashions, still preserving the reality of physical experience, but varying the accents put upon it by the inner areas of subjective life. [...]

Basic nonphysical reality, he told us then, was “like some chameleon-like animal, constantly camouflaging its true appearance by taking on the outward manifestations of each neighboring forest territory [or world] …” And so this primal vitality expressed itself physically in our environment.

In a sense, painting is man’s natural attempt to create an original but coherent, mental yet physical interpretation of his own reality—and by extension to create a new version of reality for his species. [...]

If all of your beliefs, not just your “fortunate” ones, were not materialized, you would never thoroughly understand on a physical level that your ideas create reality. [...]

[...] You could say that the identity, existing in another dimension entirely, plants the seed into the medium of physical reality from which its own material existence will spring.

Within the basic framework of the body chosen before physical birth (for reasons that will be discussed later), the individual has full freedom to create a perfectly healthy functioning form. [...]

[...] Such a course would not, in physical reality, present you with anything like a balanced picture of perfection.

[...] You on your plane cannot experience such reality except in a very limited manner, and you cannot experience such reality spontaneously, and spontaneity is the quality of the spacious present. [...]

As long as your theories are only concerned with your own camouflage universe, then of course you are limited by those ideas in your search for reality itself. When fifth dimension is understood, it in itself will show the existence of other realities not on your own horizontal plane. [...]

Not only do you create a camouflage universe that is visible to your own outer senses, but you also create other planes of existence, such as the dream world for example, which to some extent is independent of you and yet dependent upon you in very basic ways.

In your terms, the rate at which you discover the facets and realities of the spacious present becomes your camouflage time. [...]

[...] It is also true that the dream universe is at least as familiar with your own universe as you are familiar with it; and as you tune in on it, so to speak, and while you are necessary for its survival, creating it, so does the dream universe tune in on you. So is your survival dependent upon its survival, and so does it create you as a by-product, if you are looking at your universe from the other side.

[...] In all such cases the mental action occurs simultaneously in all systems in which it will have a reality; in which it can be used as a reference point in other words.

[...] Such distortive effects, such distortions, are often correlated within a given system, and accepted as a foundation for the nature of reality. [...]

The inwardness, or inward energy which forms all these systems, is the inventive stabilizer; and yet in its search it ever creates new outlets that result in creative chaos, a lack of temporary balance which is then balanced. [...]

[...] Few would agree, however, that you can learn more about the nature of the universe by examining your own creativity than you can by examining the world through instruments — and here is exquisite irony, for you create the instruments of creativity, even while at the same time you often spout theories that deny to man all but the most mechanical of reactions.

[...] The creative abilities in one way or another deal with the us-ness, with the inner intersections that everywhere occur within the most singular seeming aspects of your reality. The creative abilities join the creator and created (long pause) in a behavior in which for example, now, the painting that is to be affects the creator of it before its inception and before its form, so that the two are connected in a kind of behavior in which at deeper levels the ideas of cause and effect can have no meaning. Now: as I believe I have told you often, your creativity is one of your best clues as to how you operate, yourselves, in inner reality. [...]

[...] In a fashion (long pause), the entire structure of reality (long pause) results from “divine characteristics,” and levels of relatedness. [...]

You have an excellent grasp of “Unknown” Reality, and of all the material contained therein. [...] It can deliver it to you in the same way as your crossword puzzle exercises, but you have not thoroughly understood, in that regard, that the point of power is in the present, and that you do there also create your own reality.

Van Gogh was true to his vision, which means he was true to the self he created for himself in that time, and so must you be. But you must also have faith in what you have done, for it was all done in faithful rendering of your view of reality (in quotes) “at any given time.” [...]

That light is symbolized by the streetlights shining through the tunnels every so often, and hinting at that great brilliant reality beyond. [...]

‘The appearance of the old house stands for our ordinary physical reality — but its high location and closed shutters prevent me from looking inside it, into another reality; the negligee represents my knowledge that Jane is in that new dimension. [...]

[...] Life after death has great meaning in your reality, because death is a part of it. Your greater reality obviously transcends both your births and your deaths. [...] Your reality must be seen in its relationship to others.⁸ Otherwise you are always caught in questions like “How did the universe begin?” or “When will it end?” All systems are constantly being created.

All probabilities are probed and experienced, and all possible universes created from these units. Therefore, there are realities in which the endless probabilities of one given event are probed, and all experience grouped about that venture.

[...] I do not mean that a moment is simply stretched, or that time is slowed down alone, but that all the experiences possible within a moment become realities within that framework. [...] It is important, however, that you realize the fact that there is more creativity and variety in an inner reality than you ever physically perceive.

[...] Give us a moment … In the life that you know, as given in Personal Reality, your beliefs act to specify the particular probable events that will become “real.”¹⁰ Because you are a probable self, an understanding of your own nature will show you some of the abilities, not used here, but present, that you can indeed choose to actualize. [...] They are being developed in another reality; therefore in this one they can be utilized far easier than you might suppose. [...]

[...] There are indeed initiates, but all of you passed that stage in another layer of reality, in your terms, some time ago. [...] You work through many layers of reality at the same time. [...] You are affecting each others’ realities, but you have always done this to some degree.

[...] They are communicators in that they spread knowledge from one system of reality to another. They are given much more, for example, to ideas rather than to the various camouflage realities within systems. Many groups, you see, deal exclusively with the camouflage reality between systems, with building it up, with its maintenance.

[...] They are, however, comparatively speaking, like those who create and then are satisfied to go on to other creations. They want someone else to take care of what they have created. [...] But those who mow the grass could not create it.

Now, such a vision is not only something that you see that intrudes upon this reality, but also something that has its effects upon this reality, and often effects that you do not perceive. [...]

[...] I’m noting, then, that we can analyze something right out of our own reality by ultimately declaring it to be impossible—when actually it, and other versions of it, continue to exist in related probable realities.)

I think the beliefs the three of us hold are very creative ones; we accept them on that basis; they are as good “proofs” as we can currently get, and offer their own answers by sparking us into new ways of trying to make sense out of our reality. [...] Not even when I play around with his ideas relative to quantum theory can such proof be found—yet I let Jane’s “amazingly strong” will be the measuring and observing device that automatically causes “waves” of knowing or consciousness—in Framework 2, for example—to coalesce into the “particles” that make up the physical forms she perceives as her reality in Framework 1, either psychically from a distance or right here.

That all seeming divisions reflect portions of a unified whole is surely one of our oldest concepts, growing, in those terms, with us out of our prehistory as we struggled to grasp the “true” nature of reality. [...]

[...] One of these states that matter cannot be created from nothing. [...]

[...] You form the reality, the shape, of thoughts, for they have shape, in much the same way that you breathe; and you have as little control of them, once you have created them, as you have of your breath.

[...] You form your image and the physical matter of your environment, and these, being action, are perceived as reality in other systems. They may not be perceived as physical objects, but as reality that conforms to the particular camouflage structure within.

[...] What you see and experience physically represents but a small portion, a mere fraction of what reality is. [...]

[...] The inner self realizes the nature of its own reality, is sure of its identity and well aware of its power in the creation of actions which it projects outward from itself.
