“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

Dream 2—Don’t recall the beginning but it was in a huge amphitheater and there was a picture in great color on a giant screen to the left. After though, Pat Norelli (I think it was her, though she didn’t look like Pat particularly) myself and two young men were climbing along a high ledge toward the top of the gigantic theater. Down below were many people all watching a show or something. Pat went on along the ledge to where it met the front wall but I was frightened of falling and stayed where I was with the young man who was my companion, When Pat reached that point, the young man who was her companion did something.... and the front of the amphitheater moved so that a ledge lowered to meet her so she could make it safely to the stage. Laughing I sang out as a joke some religious line from a hymn.... that now I’ve forgotten because the stage looked somewhat like an altar, and she was saved from falling, and deposited on the stage, she stood in the center, wearing slacks and a blouse, arms out, waving at the people. I yelled “Pat;” meaning to wait, she responded, grinning. Then the man with me and I began to backtrack down the ledge the way we came. Rob awakened me here.

The car with the siren might disappear, yet the alarmed person’s attitude and actions may very well instantly cause his or her companion to realize that something was clearly amiss. [...]

This might be the very first sign to the person’s companion that anything was wrong at all. [...]

[...] John said another man was with the woman when he talked to her, and that actually he spent as much time talking with her male companion as he did the woman. John was unable to say whether, in his opinion, the male companion is the man referred to by Seth. John had not told us before this that the woman had had a male companion.

(John told us later that the male companion with the woman was a car salesman; hence Jane’s possible associative connection with mechanics. Still, as said before, we do not know for sure whether the woman’s male companion of that evening is the male referred to by Seth.

(Reiterating, John told us the talk he engaged in with the woman and her male companion at The Elms, about a month ago, seemed innocent enough on the surface. [...]

[...] Her male companion was older, John said, but he did not know by how much.

(Just before the session began Jane happened to remark that Saturday, May 23, Miss Callahan’s companion will be replaced by another, who is to take care of her weekends. Neither of these two companions are professional nurses, though they are used to taking care of people with troubles like Miss Callahan’s. May 23 is the date Seth gave us as a day of crisis for Miss Callahan; and Seth reiterated this along with a word of caution in the last session, the 54th, page 90.
