(Last night Jane had a very successful table-tipping session with her ESP class. [...]

(Since September 30 Seth has held two ESP class sessions; held a session for our friend John Barclay, who is moving to Nevada; held two sessions concerning the work Jane and I are embarking upon because of this material; and spoken through Jane upon television once more — this time during our return visit to a Washington, D.C. station.

[...] I found myself wondering if she wanted to be more active in the world —through tours, speaking, classes, or whatever, but that she’d inhibited such desires because she felt I wasn’t interested in them, didn’t want to spend the time on them that would be required, etc. [...]

[...] You are used to dealing with concepts, so that your thinking is not restricted, for example, to the mental naming of an object—but you also inquire as to its origin, its meaning, its class. [...]

We were talking about this in class one night, when suddenly Seth came through. [...]

(Jane has had two recent, excellent and long sessions for her ESP class however, featuring both Seth and Seth II, and including new material.)

(Jane then thought of having the members of her ESP class try Seth’s method. [...]

[...] Today, Tuesday, is my ESP class day, which means that I have a little less time for my writing, so after giving Rob the small description I intended to type a chapter of Adventures in Consciousness.⁴ I’d lost some writing time lately because of business matters, and because I was trying to catch up on the mail, so I was particularly concerned about getting back to Adventures.

[...] Jane and I have encountered a few of our respective counterparts, however, principally through her now-defunct ESP class.

(Seth material on evolution is presented twice in the 582nd session for Chapter 20 of Seth Speaks — not only in the session proper, but from an ESP class delivery given a few days later, on April 27, 1971. In class, Seth discussed Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution,⁷ and that material, some of which wasn’t published in the 582nd session is the source for my second group of excerpts:)
