[...] In reviewing test results on two items for Jane’s chapter on tests in her new book, we are pleasantly surprised to unearth several more excellent bits of information that we had overlooked earlier, etc...

NoPR Part One: Chapter 9: Session 636, January 29, 1973 grace guilt conscience punishment violation

(I hadn’t finished typing the 635th session by tonight, so I read Jane the last page or so of Chapter Eight and the beginning of Chapter Nine from my notes. [...]

We have mentioned reincarnation hardly at all (but see the 631st session in Chapter Seven), yet here let me state that the theory is a conscious-mind interpretation in linear terms. [...] But in the terms used there is no karma to be paid off as punishment unless you believe that there are crimes for which you must pay (as indicated in the 614th session in Chapter Two).

NoPR Part Two: Chapter 15: Session 656, April 16, 1973 loneliness robbers age convictions unhealthy

As mentioned in this book (in Chapter Four, for instance), the emerging memories will then turn on the body mechanisms, merging past and present in some kind of harmonious picture. [...]

UR2 Appendix 21: (For Session 721) counterparts Florence Maumee androgyny Appendix

(In Chapter 19 of Personal Reality, I found this line of Seth’s in the 667th session for May 30, 1973:) For reason and emotion are natural counterparts.

(Ten sessions earlier, there’s a particularly evocative reference to counterparts in the 657th session for April 18, 1973, in Chapter 15 of Personal Reality. [...]

(During that same month in 1973 Jane wrote Apprentice Gods, a long poem that’s included in Chapter 16 of Adventures in Consciousness. [...]

(Also consider these two still-earlier excerpts from the 520th session for March 20, 1970, in Chapter 3 of Seth Speaks:)

NoPR Part One: Chapter 4: Session 619, October 9, 1972 beliefs imagination child punishment parents

(Pause at 9:12.) Chapter Four: “Your Imagination and Your Beliefs, and a Few Words About the Origin of Your Beliefs.”

So one of the most hampering beliefs of all, as earlier mentioned (in the 614th session in Chapter Two, for instance), is the idea that the clues to current behavior are buried and usually inaccessible. [...]

I will from time to time give subsidiary material for Ruburt and also for you, implementing a chapter in the book for your personal use. [...]

[...] I will then add some book material to get us further into the chapter, but I will not keep you overlong.

NoPR Part Two: Chapter 21: Session 675, July 4, 1973 affirmation firecrackers spacious bread brain

[...] [See the extensive notes for the 653rd session in Chapter Thirteen, describing her various states of altered perception last April 2. In one of those intervals she’d sensed giants standing about the rim of our world.] Now, Jane said, from their massive viewpoint these observers could see “everything happening at once in our world, from California to Russia — like astronauts looking back at us….”

[...] When man first developed the pause of reflection, as mentioned earlier in this book (see sessions 635–36 in Chapter Nine), he did undergo initial disorientation before he learned to distinguish a vividly remembered event of the past from a presently experienced one. [...]

[...] (See sessions 653–54 in Chapter Fourteen.) Even these manipulations must take place in your practical-experienced present, however. [...]

(Forcefully:) End of chapter.

2. In Chapter 5 of Personal Reality, sessions 623–25 all contain Seth material on inner sound, light, and electromagnetic structures of the body that ordinarily we do not perceive. [...]

[...] See, for example, his material on reincarnational civilizations and the Lumanians in Chapter 15 of Seth Speaks. In Volume 1 of “Unknown” Reality, see his discussion on ancient man in the 702nd session, as well as Jane’s own material on the “innumerable species of man-in-the-making” in Appendix 6.

8. Seth’s material here can apply to the “case histories” Jane described in chapters 15 and 16 of Adventures.

SS Part Two: Chapter 10: Session 539, July 1, 1970 seventy rain racketing sirens death

(At the end of the last session, which was held the day before yesterday, Jane told me that Seth had the rest of Chapter Ten planned; tonight, now, she said she didn’t have the slightest idea of how Seth would continue his work on the chapter.

[...] The idea never materialized, however, even though Seth had expressed his willingness to try something like this back in March, when Chapter Three was underway. [...]

SS Part Two: Chapter 13: Session 555, October 21, 1970 anima female male animus Jung

(It’s interesting to note, however, the way in which Seth “takes off” from material like Jung’s, developing it to include his own ideas and interpretations, as he does in this chapter.

Now: Our next chapter will be called: “Reincarnation, Dreams, and the Hidden Male and Female Within the Self.”

CHAPTER 13

SS Part One: Chapter 8: Session 534, June 8, 1970 extinguished vision interference spelling alarmed

[...] She wasn’t reading the book now, but she realized Seth wasn’t following, literally, the outline he’d given for it before he began dictating it chapter by chapter. [...]

SS Part One: Chapter 4: Session 521, March 30, 1970 actor play multidimensional production role

We will now begin our next chapter. It is, I believe, Chapter Four.

(A note, added later: Except for one instance, Seth was to give many more chapters after this session before Jane looked at the book again….)

[...] I didn’t realize until the session was over that this was the second heading Seth had given for Chapter Ten. [...]

As mentioned earlier (in the 621st session in Chapter Four) there are, simply speaking, two schools of thought in current favor.

NoPR Part Two: Chapter 16: Session 659, April 25, 1973 hypnotist doctors witch hypnosis quacks

[...] In connection with Seth’s delivery since 10:10, we’d like the reader to refer to these sessions: the 616th in Chapter Two; the 624th in Chapter Five; and the 654th in Chapter Fourteen. [...]

[...] (See the 619th session in Chapter Four.) The hypnotist then acts as a parent substitute. [...]

SS Part Two: Chapter 13: Session 557, October 28, 1970 enters fetus birth identification obsessional

(An infusion from Jung cropped up in this chapter, of course — although handled in Seth’s own way. But then such events in our own lives have influenced every other chapter in the book, too. The particular form of a chapter could be affected to some degree by just when the sessions for it were held, as well as by its intrinsic subject matter. [...]

(Just before the session tonight I wondered aloud what the present Chapter Thirteen would have been like if Jane hadn’t begun to read, early this month, the anthology containing the long section by Carl Jung, the Swiss psychoanalyst. [...]

SS Part Two: Chapter 18: Session 571, March 3, 1971 symbols stages joy reverie signposts

(Jane’s question arose out of material in the 560th session in Chapter Fourteen: She wanted to know the name of the third personality making up the three-part Christ entity that Seth has postulated. [In Chapter Eighteen of Jane’s own book, The Seth Material, Seth gave as members of this entity Christ, of course, and John the Baptist.] I told Jane now that I thought Seth intended to go into this whole matter much more thoroughly later in this book.

The next chapter will be called: “Various Stages of Consciousness, Symbolism, and Multiple Focus.”
