From the 15th session for January 13: “Imagination allows you to enter into these planes … Pretend that you not only understand your cat’s concept of time to some degree, but could also experience his sense of time through the cat [Willy] himself. You like to deal with classifications, so that you equate one apple with one other apple, one cat with another cat, one person with another person. [...]

(Our cat, Willy, was curled up sleeping in a chair that happened to be in back of the rocker Jane sat in as she spoke for Seth. [...]

(Amused:) An atom can take care of itself, but atoms themselves are somewhat like domesticated animals; joining in the biological family of the body, to some extent they become like friendly cats or dogs under your domain.

Then somehow our conversation led me to wonder whether our cat, Billy, is color-blind, as we’ve heard most animals are. [...]

4. Checking after the session, I learned that cats are believed to have weak color vision. [...]

[...] The cat’s meow (amused) is as enchanting to the cat as to its owner—meaningful sounds that communicate feeling. [...]

At this time, that is now (9:44), our cat lover is reading. [...]

[...] I thought she may have yelled at the cats—but in the kitchen I saw that she was sitting at the table with shards of glass littering the rug at her feet. [...]

The cat focuses upon one thing at a time even though it has no strong ego. [...] The cat is doing the same thing, in his way, that Jane is. [...]

[...] Our cat’s eyes had that same look in the last session.”

(I added that a great attraction here in recent years has been my ever-growing appreciation of the glimpses I get of the wildlife in the area, from the deer to the geese, rabbits, chipmunks, ‘coons, dogs, cats and what-have-you. [...]

During the first six months or so of the sessions, our cat, Willie, began behaving in a most unsociable manner. [...]
