The following basic subjects are necessary for an understanding of what we are trying to say, particularly for any practical application: the construction of physical matter; the psychological and electrical gestalt that results in the formation of a self; the nature of the dream universe; the electrical system, as it is related to both the physical universe and the inner psychic gestalt; the nature of action; mental enclosures; mental genes; and again, all of these subjects in relationship to their reality as action.

I showed our guests the portrait of Seth that I had painted from my vision in 1968, as well as my paintings of Jane both before and after her death. (Since the 863rd session was held three weeks ago, Seth has given us but two regular sessions — both on subjects other than those for Mass Events — and two private sessions.

Consciousness automatically produces these emanations, and they are the basis for any kind of perception, both sensory in usual terms, and extrasensory. [...]

Also, there was someone at the top of the ladder, indicating both the source and the potential of your abilities, also their uplifting tendencies. [...]

In the 582nd session in Chapter 20 of Seth Speaks, I quoted Seth during a 1971 ESP class: “All consciousness does, indeed, exist at once, and therefore it did not evolve in those terms … the theory of evolution is as beautiful a tale as the theory of Biblical creation … both might seem to exist within their own systems, and yet, in larger respects they cannot be realities….”

The appendix idea worked well in both The Seth Material and Seth Speaks.
