[...] Tam, the editor at Prentice-Hall who is in charge of the book Jane is writing on the Seth material, has been reading the book in manuscript today.

We will be involved in other books, and I have been listening to your conversations. I am pleased with Ruburt’s progress, and I am pleased with your reactions to the book.

Sometime we will have a group of sessions or a chapter in a book dealing with the emotional levels of these two people (indicates RFB and Jane) and the relationship with psychic activity, the balances that are maintained and changed.

(“I have the feeling the session will be on the book,” Jane said, just before going into trance.

(Today I finished editing Chapter 11 of Psyche—Seth’s latest completed book, and wrapped it, with Chapter 10, for mailing to Prentice-Hall tomorrow. [...]

[...] Besides books both have in the works of Jane’s, what other reasons could have caused them to decide on almost simultaneous visits, we wonder....)

(Today Jane wrote two poems — one of them several pages long — that, she said, fit into the scheme of her potential book of poetry, Dialogues of the Speakers. [...]

[...] I got the idea of reading the whole book to her because of her excellent response the other day when I’d read her Chapter 5. Again, today, she was quite impressed with that first session. “I think it important that you know what a great job you did on that book,” I said. [...]

I did want to mention that the circulation of our books is definitely increasing, and will continue to do so.

[...] “I got the feeling there was something definitely involved in the increase in the circulation of our books,” Jane said when I was through. [...]

(Intrigued by giving such different and difficult material, Jane checked a few reference books before Pat Norelli’s Thanksgiving visit from Boston. [...]

(I have the simple, profound faith that anything I desire in this life can come to me from Framework 2. There are no impediments in Framework 2. Framework 2 can creatively produce everything I desire to have in Framework 1—my excellent health, painting, and writing, my excellent relationship with Jane, Jane’s own spontaneous and glowing physical flexibility and creativity, the greater and greater sales of all of her books. [...]

(The scientist in question may never answer my letter, but it’s already had one unexpected beneficial effect: Tonight, after he finished book dictation, Seth gave an excellent summation of his own version of what our species like to call evolution. [...]

Dictation: It may seem to some readers that the subject matter of this book (pause) is far divorced from any discussion of the specific development of psychic abilities.

[...] In its fashion, however, this book is geared to bring about the development of such abilities, for it is not a lack of methods that inhibits such activities. [...]

(But no matter, for it certainly seemed that with his material on evolution this evening Seth was preparing for his next book: Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment. [...]

[...] First of all, see them as a series of scenes, arranged in small squares, to be viewed as you would, say, a comic-book page. [...]

In some circles I believe there will be a small furor, and the book will spread.

(In the last session, 372nd, October 16, 1967, Seth predicted good sales for Jane’s ESP book. The next day Jane got a letter from F. Fell in which he outlined plans for the start of a national ad campaign to promote the book. [...]

[...] This is not our book (humorously), this is the Appendix to our book.

(Earlier in the week Jane received word that her editor wanted an Introduction from her for Seth’s book, and an Appendix. [...]

[...] Since the first session on Seth’s book (the 679th) was held — and before we knew it was a book — I’ve been getting material on it in my sleep after each session. [...]
