Jane’s feet look improved again. Her coughing and blowing has subsided somewhat, her temperature is normal.

In such cases, relaxation is in order. The situation is (underlined) as I have given it. Have him imagine himself reading a session, or hearing you exclaim over how well he has read one. Otherwise, have him forget his vision as much as possible, and it will indeed right itself.
