(Jane had been able to rotate and raise and lower her arms just as well this afternoon as she had yesterday. I also noticed that the skin on her right elbow—the only one I could see—looked much more normal in texture and color than it had, as though a deeper rejuvenation was taking place; that transparent, fragile look was disappearing.
