I keep trying to clear up certain matters for you, in the manner of a teacher, without offending your sensibilities, spurring you onward, but not wanting you to become despairing or dissatisfied overall with the state of your progress. At one level Ruburt’s physical difficulties exist as you learn a richer, more complex and profound expression. They exist as a kind of faulty sentence construction in a paragraph of living experience that you keep going back to, persistently trying to improve it.

I would like you for the moment to clear the board, as much of course as possible. I would like you to attend to your lives as they otherwise appear before you, for a period of time to return to sessions because of your natural living curiosity and involvement with them, and to attend most of all to creative thought as it naturally makes itself known. And let the stressful episode momentarily rest, as if you were saying “Oh yes, there is indeed a most undesirable twisted group of sentences. But we will let it go for the moment, refresh ourselves and allow the energy of creativity to work upon the paragraph till we return to it.”

Such an approach at this time is a good one. In the meantime the massage can indeed benefit (long pause), for the two women do indeed allow a free expression of healing love to direct their lives, so that their touch is of itself soothing and healing, and carries certain important messages.
