“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(The day after the last session I wrote down a question for Seth. I’ve thought about it often since last Thursday, then: Is Jane going to have to make known to herself consciously every bit of information about her symptoms before she recovers? I had the question partly because of something she’d said herself before the last session—and which I’ve now forgotten—and partly because I didn’t believe that most people were able to deal with such procedures in their daily lives. Indeed, they wouldn’t have the time or the talent to make consciously known to themselves all the details of their challenges that had made them ill to begin with. As a society we’re generally not organized that way to begin with.

(The evening was quite warm and very pleasant. The back porch door was wide open in the gathering dusk; even though we’ve passed the longest day of the year now, it was still not dark.)

Now—good evening.

The nature of that consideration will show itself as a natural result of the psychological events now occurring. There may be a communication of one kind or another directly from the creative self to the Sinful Self, for example, in which those issues are sympathetically addressed. There certainly will be dreams and other such events that serve as communications from one portion of the self to another—and these may be initiated from any portion.

Some may even be initiated from the sessions. It is important that such portions of the self speak for themselves right now. I do not want to anticipate such communications, because Ruburt needs the direct encounter, so to speak.

Such events will follow their own rhythms if you allow them to. Your own love-making and communications of love in different ways is of continuing importance. Right now I act more as a monitor. (Long pause.) Remember that all portions of the personality are conscious. Everything does not have to be translated into your terms of consciousness, however. Quite creative solutions of course happen at other levels, arising into your usual consciousness sometimes by very diverse routes.
