(Yes, I’ve started my famous list of questions for that “personality energy essence;” it’s based on this latest group of private sessions, that began on February 4, 1981. Jane has read the first two pages of questions. A few may contain new insights into our challenges. Next comes my list of “pithy quotations” from the same group of sessions—positive statements from Seth [usually] that we can quickly review. I can already see that both lists could be almost endless....

(At 9:00 she told me she thought Seth would discuss my questions #5 and 6, about black-and-white thinking, and touch upon “that article” about micro metal-bending, or psychokinetic metal bending. I was surprised to hear this, for even though I’d been quite interested in the article I’d forgotten it for the moment. It appeared in the PSI News bulletin of the Parapsychological Association. Vol. 4, No. 1 for January 1981. She’d read the article this noon at lunch when I called her attention to it. Until I’d first read the piece a couple of days ago, I hadn’t realized that much progress had been made scientifically in the detection of psychic metal-binding on a micro scale. The presentation of information seemed to be very straight-forward, though I’m sure that it will be attacked by the skeptics in a variety of ways. Perhaps we’ll learn more about the situation as it develops. I’m attaching a copy of the article to this session, for Seth came through with some unique insights concerning healing and micro metal-bending, or PKMB.)

Ruburt’s body is changing while he sleeps. The areas involving motion are highly involved. He is sleeping better—all issues that should be remembered. That will be enough for this evening, and I will go into some of your questions next session.

(9:56 PM. Jane’s delivery had been quite good, although she hadn’t appeared to be too comfortable in her chair. I explained to her that this session offered valuable clues as to how to use suggestion: If one could learn how to direct the suggestions —even through the use of misdirection—much could be accomplished. The use of that misdirection would certainly have it funny connotations, too, I thought.
