Ruburt is doing very well under the situation. The feelings in the leg and the knee do indeed signify new motion, and the willingness to move. Again, the feelings of panic will naturally subside, but they are important for they are in their way the signs of the child crying—and earlier, Ruburt as the adult would not listen.

Psychic abilities, as such, were relatively unimportant to Ruburt when the Sinful Self was receiving all of this instruction, so in that regard they, taken alone, were simply seen in a somewhat worse light than the creative abilities. The problem came with the insertion of questions of good or bad, truth or falsehood, and certainly with any possibility of, say, setting up a new religion.
