In certain positions, those areas hurt when his weight is on them in a certain way. This has frightened him. But he has done well with it. And he can do far better. The main thing is to remember the body’s good intent, and its ability to follow through because fear of course increases tension on the muscles.
The legs are extending further, however, and sometimes when he walks in the bathroom this is quite obvious. Have him try walking to the couch, as yesterday, to begin with, but these changes definitely mean that the important alterations in the knees are happening.
