The lack of confidence is what you must both work at, and the old habits of thought. Ruburt is back at writing again, which is excellent. When I make recommendations, such as the library, I make them with the knowledge of their implications, and their importance in the entire picture. This is not an original statement, but the past only has the power that you give it.

Ruburt’s entire body is more pliable. His balance is continually working toward normality. Confidence can vastly accelerate the process, and definitely smooth the way. I suggested that you both use your creativity in that regard—again, a suggestion not lightly made. I want you to understand your power, individually and jointly, in that regard.

The eyes have improved enough so that he can work near normally enough at his writing, and they will continue to improve. The morning eye condition results from the sinuses. The draining is beneficial. If you understand your power and exert it, and you can, then you can accelerate the process. You must not focus your attention upon past failures. You do not think of any paintings that you did not succeed at. Ruburt does not think of books that he did not finish. All of those things are lost in the light of new achievement. You can coax Ruburt more and encourage him, and exert your power more in that direction. You have not believed you could do that.
