(Today I read the deleted session for June 24, 1973—one of those in the 1973 deleted book that Seth suggested I read, in the last session. I was dismayed to realize that some four and a half years had passed since that session had been held, and that we were still struggling with the same problems—indeed, that Jane had lost much ground physically in the interim. I read the material and it plagued me through the day. I explained my feelings to Jane as we sat for the session, and as I talked felt myself sink into a deep depression. Once again, I wondered what we’d been doing while all that time passed.)

I have given you endless material on the importance of significances, and how you build upon them according to your focus. In that one area of Ruburt’s condition, you focus upon the improvements that occur. You do not compare the present situation with a past one in a detrimental manner. You live in the present. All of the recent material I have given you has enabled you to see some considerable results because for a time you have managed to give yourselves some peace of mind—at least enough to move ahead.

Framework 2 begins to open doors in all areas, and only you and Ruburt can possibly stand in the way of excellent developments that have begun now in all avenues, including Ruburt’s condition. They are activated. Old patterns of thought can at times rearouse feelings of hopelessness and failure. A little extra effort on both of your parts can help you not only to recognize the feelings, which you do, but to decide to suspend them for now. Agree to give yourselves a breathing spell from them. Try to counter them.
