In one he had to “prove” his mental stability, to his way of thinking. Since he is spontaneous, to him that meant appearing instead always calm, reasonable. On an inner level it meant, however, progressing slowly—probing the abilities, learning his way, while having a constant touch with the body, unpleasant or not, that would keep him physically oriented.
