Earlier she had a greater determination, a stronger faith that helped bring him through. With the years however she has become discouraged, and telepathically he knows this.

She is too sorry for him. She is also projecting the negative picture into the future. She feels beaten by the situation. A circle of reaction has formed about the family therefore, that so far is self-perpetuating. This is not her “fault.” It is simply that the family has become weary, but the circle of reaction must be broken.

There were connections in past lives that united mother and son, of which they are both unconsciously aware. She has been valiant. At certain tides she rose to peaks of high encouragement that helped him. But she must avoid the mire of negative expectation.

He is not unhappy, particularly if no one reminds him of what they think he is missing. She must have faith that the life was chosen for a reason, and then the reasons will become at least understandable to her.
