(To recap: after supper tonight Jane told me she felt “warm.” Our apartment was quite chilly in actuality, as it has often been since the June flood; both of us had been cold all day. Now Jane was warm and more relaxed than usual. I went to work in the studio on the illustrations for Oversoul Seven. Jane told me later that after I left she began to get very strong feelings that the phone was going to ring, with some exceptionally good news for us. Possibly Richard Bach and his editor, Eleanor Friede, were involved. These feelings became so strong that Jane wrote out a description of them.
(Jane’s predictions have been very good recently. At 8:45 she came over to the living room for a session; I was still working. She had the idea she should rub between her eyes in a circular motion— “You know, where the third eye would be,” she said. At the same time she was waiting for the phone to ring. When it did ring a few minutes later she called to me to answer it. It stopped ringing however after three times, long before I could get over to answer it.

(“Next I was running like a kid. I threw myself down in the grass and lay there and relaxed, lying on my back.... And now, see, I’m talking and these little men are working on my hands, my astral fingers. Wait,” Jane said, after a pause, “I’m getting some words—”

(At 10:05 the music from up above stopped, and I heard people leaving. Jane sat slumped in her rocker, very relaxed, eyes closed. Then she began to talk again. “I heard the people go out upstairs. I was giant-sized again. My flesh felt like dough, the little men were kneading it like dough. It’s a real funny feeling, I can’t really describe the sensation. The little men were working on my knees when I heard the kids upstairs leave. Before that they’d worked on my shoulders real fast, shaking my astral shoulders around and around....”
(Jane’s head moved rhythmically from side to side very slightly as she sat slumped in her rocker, eyes closed. “My skin was too tight and they worked all over it. Then one ovary had a little black spot on it, and they snipped it off—and lifted it up somehow—and I thought that’s why I haven’t had my periods... I feel like I’m a giant to those little people, with this method of self-perception I’m using; now they’re back working under my knees.” Jane paused at 10:15. “They dipped my head down and took the top of it off. Then they scooped out some stuff like they did before, this time from where the top vertebrae meet the skull, and they threw all this stuff away. Then they worked on my shoulders.”
