(To recap: after supper tonight Jane told me she felt “warm.” Our apartment was quite chilly in actuality, as it has often been since the June flood; both of us had been cold all day. Now Jane was warm and more relaxed than usual. I went to work in the studio on the illustrations for Oversoul Seven. Jane told me later that after I left she began to get very strong feelings that the phone was going to ring, with some exceptionally good news for us. Possibly Richard Bach and his editor, Eleanor Friede, were involved. These feelings became so strong that Jane wrote out a description of them.

(While I was getting set to take notes, Jane said she felt her subjective legs “going around in circles.” She had stopped rubbing her forehead by now. She also felt that hands were pulling her legs down, straightening them. She sat leaning back in her rocker, very relaxed, eyes closed; at last she told me she got a whole lot of stuff that time.

(At 10:05 the music from up above stopped, and I heard people leaving. Jane sat slumped in her rocker, very relaxed, eyes closed. Then she began to talk again. “I heard the people go out upstairs. I was giant-sized again. My flesh felt like dough, the little men were kneading it like dough. It’s a real funny feeling, I can’t really describe the sensation. The little men were working on my knees when I heard the kids upstairs leave. Before that they’d worked on my shoulders real fast, shaking my astral shoulders around and around....”

(We were evidently done by 10:31. When Jane got up she didn’t seem to move about the room any faster. Yet, she said, she felt an image walking just ahead of her; at the same time the feeling of warmth had left her. Residual feelings and images from the session did remain with her, though.
