The needs and desires of others naturally enter in, and some energy must be used to close them out. That is why I did not have a full dictation for our Seagull and friend.

The Seagull is above all your friend. He will continue to be a celebrity. He will also have some storms to weather. He is deeply loyal, even more to ideas than to people, particularly when his need for freedom is respected. He will be of great help to Ruburt, and in advancing our work.

(Possibly here Seth refers to the results flowing from Dick’s mentioning The Seth Material on his TV and radio shows in the course of talking about his own book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, etc.)

Seagull also needs friendly assurance, and some help as he learns to go deeper personally into the nature of reality and his own reality, and we can help him there.

Seagull is a different kind of a book. Console can freely speak about it in public, because it carries within itself its own lovely camouflage. A series of shows now however would mitigate against what we are trying to do. Do you see the difference?

(10:12.) When you do shows on occasion, later, your position will be assured. Seagull (humorously) will be our angel Gabriel.

Now Seagull may be involved, but you will also handle your own end of the financial stick—that is, you will also be able to contribute financially.

The Seagull goes ahead for us, and in a way that you and Ruburt are not equipped to go. You are both too solitary for that particular kind of endeavor. Seagull whets the appetite. Its readers will find more where its author found more, so the Seagull flies truly.

There were many alternate probabilities. Seagull is the one that materialized in this reality. Dick’s very open attitude has already helped Ruburt immensely—another writer, you see; the blending of the writer and psychic, highly important to Ruburt. Dick however did not know where to go after Seagull, until he came onto our material, and it (underlined) will help him.

There is the same connection with Seagull. I am telling you that all of you were connected and are. Aerofranz knew, quite well, that Ruburt simply had to do some fiction. He also knew that the center of Ruburt’s being was involved with our message. Ruburt knew this also.

Aerofranz knew the practicalities of publishing, in his reality. There was energy on both sides, but Seven was, and is, literally Ruburt’s inner self flying quite as the Seagull flies—for fun, freely, without having to answer questions, and without having to be brought down to specifics.

The alliance with Seagull, and any ensuing household excitement was highly creative and important. You will see more of him, but there will be good quiet periods of work between.
