Earlier, when this latest group of sessions began, he could not have played badminton, much less taken that trip. At the same time this expansion did put him in situations that he had avoided before, and so the contrast between his physical situation and that of others was apparent—and to him, frightening. This in itself however was an advance, and it served to bring up the fact that these were body beliefs.

Now: he is to do the point of power exactly as he decided yesterday. Working with body beliefs. I suggest that you hear his morning as well as evening suggestions, and that you take a few moments, perhaps no more than 5 a day, to impress upon him the fact that these new beliefs can be inserted in place of the old, and will bear results. This is for your benefit also, and your joint benefits. For the speediest overall improvement can be expected as each of you realize together and separately that the condition can be, and is being, changed for the better.

There is a feel to this. You can tell when it is taking hold, and your joint belief is necessary. In the inner order of events it has occurred, and Tam, not knowing I have said so, has picked it up. (See Tam’s recent letter, in which he described his dream in which he saw Jane fully recovered, etc.) But still in your time and terms I tell you to follow faithfully what I have suggested.
