“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane had the “tooth bit” in a rather distant way, briefly after breakfast and after supper today. We talked over the causes, used some suggestions, and that seemed to take care of it. She feels much better. She is writing down her fears, angers, good points, etc., each day. This has been very revealing.

For some time I have given you much advice, many suggestions, knowing full well that some would go by the board. Enough of them would be followed however to provide some kind of inner program, that would at least head you in the proper directions.

They were not worked through, however, and he stopped the practice. Unknowingly you were working on the two levels given in my last session, through suggestion, building self-confidence while Ruburt wrote out his gripes and conscious thoughts. Until he produced Seven, however, he would not really consider facing the dilemma. Seven was the novel that showed him he could (underlined) write fiction.

I suggest now, for now (underlined), that you each do arise at 6:30, and take a good nap before dinner. I suggest this because it will help you both with your work. It is a simple method. It will also however give you freer psychic time in your nap.

This suggestion is for the present. The cold will also now be vanishing, as I tell you that following it will be the other symptoms. This only however if the writing habit is kept up, and the other suggestions.

Tam received the basic message, though in the morning. He made several distortions, substituting you (RFB) and the book I suggested (Through My Eyes) rather than Ruburt and Adventures. He did this to give himself time on a conscious level to deal with the situation. Some time ago, after Seven, he mentioned my book, my new book, to Ruburt, and Ruburt said he did not want to contract trance material ahead of time, so Tam let it rest.

(Almost with a laugh:) He resented that you did not push him in that particular matter. You understood however Adventure’s meaning and significance, and helped him when you realized he was ready to accept it, by your suggestion. Do you follow me?

(It is Monday, January 15 as I finish typing this session. On the day it was held, January 10, Seth said there wouldn’t be any more great trouble for Jane through the tooth symptoms. This hasn’t proven out. The tooth symptoms have hung on, perhaps not as severely; they frighten Jane a good deal. Through the pendulum, suggestion, her writing, etc., we have learned a lot about their causes. Eliminating the symptoms though is like trying to pick up mercury at this writing. The latest wrinkle is that the teeth reflect her concern about money, eating, and my own success as an artist...)
