SESSION 580 (DELETED PORTION)

(This material is deleted from the 580th Session for April 12, 1971. We wanted some data on Jane’s slow movements. She discussed various recent attitudes, ideas and actions, etc., and became somewhat excited talking about them. Resume after break at 10:22.)

Let what I have said stand for now. You may take a break, or end the session as you prefer.

(11:03. Jane’s trance had been good. She said that at the end Seth had another remark to make, but that she didn’t have the energy to get it out: “And thank you for fixing my chair.” This is a humorous reference to my putting a new seat in Jane’s favorite Kennedy rocker—her session chair, etc.

One small note. This also has to do in our own private sessions, with Ruburt’s slowness and difficulty getting out of the chair—to show you that he is paying for the success of the sessions.

In class sessions he does not feel this. You have always in the past (underlined) spoken of discipline. He was afraid that you would resent his success in something that seemed too spontaneous.

(11:07. There was a little more here, spoken at a fast pace, to the effect that Seth wanted us to get the recorder fixed so that we could have a session without my taking notes for a change. Seth suggested that Jane or Sue Watkins could transcribe the notes, etc., while I commented that it would be quite a job, etc.)
