Remember that your present reality is the result of years of positive and negative thought patterns. It is good that you have begun to recognize some of your own negative attitudes, for it is highly important that you do so.
Realize that each time you replace a negative thought or feeling by a positive one, this is like making a correction in a painting. Soon you will be able to do this automatically, but in the beginning conscious effort is needed.

Again, always consider the thing desired accomplished and projected in present reality, present physical reality, and so it shall be. Now you often projected negative thoughts, not being able to accept the items in the spirit in which they were given. You felt it made you inferior to accept such gifts. This is negative to begin with. You (pointing to me) wanted to feel aloof, and I tell you, superior. There is a knack in accepting and receiving. Your attitude was a rejecting one in general—that is, it was a reflection of a deeper pattern of negative thinking.
Some of this had to do with your own background. There was also a feeling, “Since you do not buy my paintings, do not hand me your junk.” But these people did not feel you wanted them to buy your paintings. You did not project that thought.

Give us a moment. (Pause.) To some extent there was a bottling up of energy, in that you could not take or give freely. You projected your own negative patterns of thought upon those who gave joyfully. This does not mean you look for alms. I did not mean they gave and therefore placed themselves above you. These were quite simply offerings, and they considered them little enough.

Automatic rejections therefore should be avoided. In your thoughts of finances, also avoid limiting ideas, both specifically and generally. If a bill arrives do not think “How will we ever pay this?” or “This will make us short,” for you are painting your picture of poverty, you see. Instead say to yourself “Money to pay this bill is coming to me.” You will instantly set up currents of activity that will bring it about. With the other reaction you close them off and deny them.

Concentrate on the health issue in your exercises for now. Let your thoughts flow naturally during the day. They will of their own accord touch upon various issues such as work, finances and so forth. When they do then correct any negative thoughts with positive ones.
The feeling (underlined) of abundance, spiritual, psychic and physical, is what is important, and the avoidance of thoughts of limitations. I will have more to say in our next session. You are making it more complicated than it is. Give me a moment.
In the normal course of a day your thoughts dwell to some degree on the issues that you have mentioned, and about which you are concerned. Now in the past such thoughts were often highly negative, and they have resulted in negative conditions. No special efforts are required, save that such thoughts are now made positive.
