(This session is deleted from the record. Once again Jane spoke for Seth while seated on the divan. Her eyes opened often, were very dark; her voice was average, her pace again fast.)

He is progressing. The desperation caused by the symptoms became greater than the problem behind them. This alone showed him that his solution was wrong. The nature of his own individuality makes it impossible for him to accept such a solution. Therefore he had to seek others. This is a case where his curiosity stands him in good stead.

(Jane was now beginning to recline on the couch once more, while speaking. In each of these recent personal sessions she has ended up laying flat on her back on the couch while in trance—something she hadn’t done until recently.)
