Regardless of the field of reality from which the data is received, to a large extent the mechanisms are the same. It is only because so-called mediumship is more unusual than simple perception that it appears so striking. Ruburt, reading from a book, would still have to receive and translate that information without knowing the endless manipulations necessary.
