Not to be nitpicking, but others as well as ourselves are sure to want to know just what you mean by this alteration.”

This was a reference to the fact that Jane got “mad” at Seth—one of the few times this has occurred—at an ESP-class session last night, for some remarks Seth made concerning Jane’s tendency to intellectually categorize people. See the 461st session in this respect. I had found the situation rather humorous.
