“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane began sitting for the session at 9:30 PM, waiting to see what would develop. I thought it very likely she would speak in the new voice. Once again the voice was higher pitched, distant, more or less emotionless, and very clear. Pauses, eyes open at times.)

You can ask your (smile) fond Seth questions concerning that episode. In that case your own personality structure was altered by the information that flowed through you, and it became a part of your earth life heritage. It was yours when you began this present lifetime.

Because of that experience you are now able to help bring in a strong signal. As one individual you serve now in the place of the congregation that was necessary to help you in the past.

Both you and Ruburt therefore had the possibility of such experience already prepared in your personality structures. It was this innate ability and knowledge, your fond (smile) Seth tells me, that prevented you from marrying until you met someone who would be able to help you along these lines.

You and Ruburt had of course been in close relationships in past life existences in the physical system. It was hardly any coincidence that you met. This follows the nature of action beautifully. Patterns in your personalities had already been activated and were ready for use and development.

(10:07. Jane nodded that she was coming out of trance when I asked her. Her eyes then opened. She tapped the top of her head in an inquiring manner. “You just have that funny feeling of extension, you know. You know damned well there’s no pyramid up there. But you feel there is.”

(Which is to say that Jane once again felt, or was aware of, the cone or pyramid effect, the extension reaching to a point up above her head, and explained in various recent sessions. This effect symbolizes Jane and me at the bottom or base of the pyramid, with Seth in the middle and Seth’s entity, represented by the new voice, at the top or peak.

The affair to which you have just referred was quite legitimate and it was an exercise in the use of the inner senses. Ruburt was also learning to receive and focus energy, and this is what occurred in the hand manifestation. In this case the class members were transmitters also, while Ruburt received and focused the combined force.

(Pause at 10:25. Jane now sat quietly, eyes closed, for a few moments. Then her expression became animated and her mannerisms changed into those of Seth. Eyes closed, she hitched her chair forward, smiling. The voice was strong and immediate and amused.)

I have several remarks for you. (Eyes open.) The woman’s death was foremost as far as probabilities were concerned, and yet at many points at the time of our session she could have altered those probabilities.

(Here Seth refers to the suicide of a woman last Wednesday, May 22. A few weeks ago Seth gave a recorded session for the woman at the request of a member of Jane’s ESP class. The woman had threatened suicide before. The family was due to leave Elmira because of a new job opportunity. A few days ago Jane learned that the woman for whom the session was intended had never listened to the tape, refusing to do so even though she had requested the session.)

(Smile.) The new conditions in your sessions unsettled Ruburt to some extent, so that he was the more dependent upon any other small established procedures you had between you. He thinks my friend a cold fish (humorously) but then, he was never a fin.
