“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Apropos of the above, I quote briefly from an article in the New York Times for May 9, 1968, written by Walter Sullivan and datelined May 8 from Cambridge, Massachusetts. However, Jane and I did not see the article until the day after tonight’s session; note that this session is held on the same day the article was published. A friend gives us the Times after he is through with it, the day after publication.

He is a part of the overall entity that did become physical, although now in your terms that portion of his existence is finished. (Smile.) This portion was never physically materialized. (Long pause. This last sentence referred I believe to Seth’s entity itself, from inflections given.) In one way I am a whole that is more than the sum of its parts, while I am also a part of more than I am. (Long pause.)

—I give Ruburt my heartiest wishes for his birthday, though he is far older than his tender 39 years. He misses me.

That is fine. We are experimenting. Some time will be involved. (Pause.) He was uneasy when our sessions first began. I knew he would not take this as a lark. (Leans forward, humorous.)

I could have delivered this evening’s material. I would like him to become familiar with our innovation. (Smile.) He participates more when I speak in this manner. In one way I am indeed able to make closer contact, but we must take advantage of all of our sources, and so we shall.
