“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Again tonight the voice was clear, somewhat distant, and higher pitched than Jane’s usual voice. The voice was not faint however, and if anything was a bit stronger tonight than previously. Many pauses in the beginning, and the pace increased considerably as the session progressed. Eyes closed at start; then opening often later.)

(Pause.) These coordinates form all realities. They are unique points through which vitality expresses itself. Camouflages spring up (pause) along the coordinates, and moment points offer endless opportunities for further expression and development. The inner fabric of reality is far more complicated than outer camouflage as you know it.

The physical body is but one small aspect of the various inner forms of which you are personally composed. As the various portions of your physical body are connected and interconnected, so the various portions of your other forms are also interconnected, and one to the other. (Pause.)

It is very possible that physics rather than psychology will give the first hint that human personality is multidimensional and that the inner reality of the mind far surpasses the physical universe that it attempts to probe. (Pause.)

There are other drugs however, and if these are discovered and utilized, then these developments could occur within the field of psychology itself. The drugs release certain barriers that (pause) stand between the physical body and its other forms.

(Pause, well over one minute long. Eyes closed. Emphatic.)

I want to make this clear: no postulated new force theory will answer their questions until it is realized that no system is closed, and that the physical universe is not the origin of, but the result of, the energy that they seek. (Pause.)

(Jane’s delivery was faster and quite emphatic in here, in the new higher voice. Eyes open often. Now she took a long pause.)

We are as vividly experiencing reality in our own dimensions as you are in your own. I will be able to activate certain abilities of Ruburt’s (pause,eyes closed), by helping him alter certain coordinates within his own inner system.

There is quite simply a higher frequency being used when I speak. (Long pause.) My communications are dependent upon Seth’s permission as well as Ruburt’s. The material should still be called the Seth material, for I am an aspect of Seth that you did not know, and in the past I helped him deliver material though I did not directly attend sessions. (Long pause.)

He is a part of the overall entity that did become physical, although now in your terms that portion of his existence is finished. (Smile.) This portion was never physically materialized. (Long pause. This last sentence referred I believe to Seth’s entity itself, from inflections given.) In one way I am a whole that is more than the sum of its parts, while I am also a part of more than I am. (Long pause.)

That is fine. We are experimenting. Some time will be involved. (Pause.) He was uneasy when our sessions first began. I knew he would not take this as a lark. (Leans forward, humorous.)

I am present in a different manner. I am not speaking as one who has been physically oriented when the other voice comes. (Pause.) Now to some extent this allows me to dispense with certain distortions necessarily a part of any personality who has been physically oriented.

The intimacy and personal characteristics by which you know me to some extent drew you to me. At times they will simply be dispensed with, so that a clearer flow of information can be given. (Pause. Seth smiled.

(Pause.) And I did enjoy the flowers.

(I asked the last question at 10:37, after a lengthy pause, to see if the session was over. Jane sat with her eyes closed, smiling. Well over a minute paused. I thought she was still in trance. She went through a variety of facial expressions, mostly smiling or quizzical, and changed her physical position several times. Two, then three minutes passed. Her eyes were still closed. I waited, wondering if something unusual might be taking place; ordinarily I would have ended the session. Now Jane looked puzzled. Four minutes.)

(10:41—I called Jane’s name three times, and she came out of trance easily. “I’ll tell you what happened,” she said, “after I…” She rested briefly, then explained. When I asked the question about explaining a nonphysical life, Jane said she felt that Seth tried to switch to the other source or voice, after his own brief answer, so that we could get more data. As noted, a long pause followed here, but Jane subjectively was not aware of this. My next question, about the back, then threw her off, seeming to come instantly after the previous question, and she couldn’t make contact with Seth’s entity. Although she felt “up high.”
