(Once again Jane began speaking for Seth’s entity, as we have come to call the personality beyond Seth; her voice had the same higher and distant, clearly enunciating quality as before. There was no greeting to us as Seth usually gives. Jane spoke with eyes opening at times, and with many pauses, some of them long.)

(9:58. Jane sat with her eyes still closed, but nodded that she was okay to my question. Her eyes opened a minute later. She had used the new distant voice throughout, as before; this time though her pace had usually been better. She said she didn’t get the cone or pyramid effect after the one time noted before the session began.
(Jane said she doesn’t really know how to begin the sessions lately. She sits and “listens inward.” She hears a word and then begins. She was aware of the different voice. With Seth, she always felt he was present, immediate, alive and strong. With the new source, Seth’s entity, Jane said she feels it is way up above her, talking; but once she gets the first word there’s no problem.
(I wondered aloud if we should ask definitely for a name for the new voice, since it might give Jane more of a sense of familiarity with the new voice, and help in writing up the notes; but it was no big deal, we decided.

(10:39. Jane came out of trance easily after a short pause. Seth had been very animated and amusing—funny, with a good voice, eyes open often and looking toward me as Jane lay flat on the couch.
