(Pause.) In terms of value fulfillment you see, Ruburt is trying to assimilate information that has already been gathered, the last several days being far more valuable in terms of inner growth. The psychological changes, you see, are far more reaching than the short duration in time would seem to imply.

The inner psychological realization is the important event here, rather than, for example, the letter (from Prentice-Hall) itself. The true event is the psychological one. Ruburt’s readiness to do the kind of book he will now do was signaled by those episodes having to do with me in the dream book.

Now as far as our own material is concerned, it has taken short shrift for some time. There are loose ends dangling in many areas. We shall try to add some continuity and consistency, therefore. You have still been given but a sketchy outline, in truth, but we have time to fill it in. For that matter, the outline is scarcely completed.

A large segment will also be concerned with that portion of reality that has time connotations for you. For you must deal with your idea of time, and manipulate within it while you hold it valid. When you realize it is not valid (smile), then instructions will be useless.

I am the Seth that I say I am, but I am also more. The Seth personality that is a part of me is the portion that can most clearly communicate with you. At some future time I will indeed discuss this more thoroughly, and on some occasions in the future you may become more aware of other portions of my reality. (Very forceful delivery.) Do you follow me? My reality includes the Seth reality.

There is also an access to energy far beyond that which is usually experienced. Ruburt sensed this quite well in the past, and feared to open those channels until he felt himself suitably ready and prepared. There exists, in other words, what could almost be compared to a psychological and psychic warp in dimensions, (pause) and that corner in Ruburt’s personality is an apex point at which communication and contact can be made.

(10:33. Jane’s eyes were open and dark, and I had visions of her continuing to speak in trance while I competed in trying to bring her out of it. Nothing like this developed. As Seth recently suggested, I spoke her name aloud three times. Her eyes closed and her head began to nod. I repeated the procedure and thought I saw signs that Jane was leaving trance.

(As Seth also suggested, I touched her leg at the ankle, since she sat across from me at the coffee table with her feet upon it. This too helped. I continued speaking to her and touched her other ankle. This time Jane jumped, very nearly violently, her eyes closed. In a few moments she said the mere touch caused her reaction. By now she was consciously aware that something definitely unusual had been taking place, and the second touch conflicted here.
