“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

On a limited scale, very limited, this process is hinted at in the material having to do with moment points, action and personality.

I am the Seth that I say I am, but I am also more. The Seth personality that is a part of me is the portion that can most clearly communicate with you. At some future time I will indeed discuss this more thoroughly, and on some occasions in the future you may become more aware of other portions of my reality. (Very forceful delivery.) Do you follow me? My reality includes the Seth reality.

There was no point in my mentioning this before. The Seth portion of me has been intimately connected with you both, and so in that respect have I. (Pause.) This is all closely related to the definition of a personality energy essence, from which of course all individuals spring.

(Voice louder.) There is a peculiar corner within Ruburt’s personality, also deflected into your own, that allows him a rather clear access into informational channels most difficult to reach from your system. During this particular session, and at this moment, the contact is particularly good. (Voice loud and staccato, eyes wide and dark.)

There is also an access to energy far beyond that which is usually experienced. Ruburt sensed this quite well in the past, and feared to open those channels until he felt himself suitably ready and prepared. There exists, in other words, what could almost be compared to a psychological and psychic warp in dimensions, (pause) and that corner in Ruburt’s personality is an apex point at which communication and contact can be made.

A more powerful connection exists, you see, now; and this means you have reached, as you are well aware, somewhat beyond the personality by which I usually make myself known to you. Even if I continue to speak, end the trance.

(When the additional energy began to manifest itself after break, Jane said it seemed another channel opened up, a great energy. She felt it being transformed into words through her. It was the best feeling of its kind she’d ever had, “as though this energy was coming from a very distant place, or great depths,” yet she was aware of words as she spoke them. This appears to be in conflict with accounts we have read, wherein mediums have no awareness or memory of events in trance. Yet Jane’s trance was very obviously an excellent one. Now however, all Jane remembered was that the voice said she was reaching beyond the usual Seth personality.

(The energy sweeping her along was so strong, Jane said, that she now wondered how she would have ended the session had not the voice suggested this; but I could reassure her that from observation now I could tell when her trance was very deep, and knew enough now to end it when necessary. Jane said that tonight she was as “un-me” as she had ever been. In retrospect it was a bit frightening—there was a terrific sense of power and energy. She hadn’t been as “cozily Seth” as usual; less cozily a personality in our terms; but she also didn’t know who or what was responsible, aside from the great energy.
