“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(John Bradley was a witness to the session, and had some questions about his job with Searle, and events within the company. However John gave Jane no details before the session, merely stating that he would like to know what was happening.)

Events as you know of them right now are transient. There will be further changes, and these will be to your advantage, if I understand correctly your idea of advantage. The third party will be out. The scramble was initiated by a turnabout, and another turnabout is coming.

([John:] “Was I invited to dip into this grab bag, the last time my boss was down?”)

(John corroborated much of what Seth had given, and added that he felt that only his own lack of specific knowledge prevented him from corroborating much more of the data. Jane was pleased, saying she tried to relax and not block or distort any of the data.

(John gave us much interesting background information about his company. He identified the short man who would be out as Jim Brady. John could not identify the S A R reference. John has already refused, he said, to commit himself re a promotion to Rochester. He said it was likely he would remain in this area of the country, that is, the northeast. Freewheeling basis would pertain to John’s interpretation, he said, of the changed mode of operation by which the pharmaceutical industry attempts to sell its products and its image.

My dear friend. We shall be part of an association in the future. I shall be incorporated. (Eyes wide open, voice getting louder and stronger.) Now I am glad that you have come to visit us, although I am somewhat disappointed in you. I did indeed use the symbol of the chessboard because I knew that you had been involved with one. I was trying, you see, to make you comfortable by dealing with what I thought was a common point of interest.

(The Seth voice was indeed powerful to a degree, and gave brief evidences of soaring, but then quieted. The above was humorous.)

(Jane’s voice was again becoming loud and powerful.) Ruburt has his wires crossed. He opened the channels wide in order to receive the information for our friend, And indeed he does not know how to close them. This is why the voice comes through with such raucous glee.

([John:] “This material you gave me tonight wasn’t a joke, was it?”)

I should not answer that question. However, no, it was not. (Pause; smile.) I feel indeed like a merry old gentleman, sitting here with his cronies. Ruburt’s trance state has improved indeed, but having opened the door, oftentimes he does not know how to close it. If you do not want me to go booming through him for hours then I suggest that you call his name three times. I however am perfectly content, and he is fine.

You have more problems than I can deal with. And the artist’s name was Van Elver. Elver…. He thinks you do fairly well.

(10:10. Jane paused, and I called her name three times. This broke the trance state, and a few minutes later her eyes began to open. By 10:14 she was out of it as John and I talked to her.
