The man in California remembers you as you remember him, and he will speak of you. There will be two other men also of a like philosophy, and the four of you will exert considerable force within the company in the future, and will shape its policy eventually.

I spoke of two other men who will be in league with you and the man from California. Now when I say a league I do not necessarily mean in conspiracy. Simply that from four corners your philosophies will meet, and each will see advantage for themselves in the promotions of the others.

Besides this there will be a natural meeting of minds. Of the other two men, one is not in the picture as yet. This does not matter. But the third man must arrive in the picture. His advancement must come before your move can be made with any assurance of success. He is another within the company whose ideas match your own to some degree.

(I thought it a good idea that this be the end of the session, however, Seth came through again at 10:30 as the three of us sat talking about various things. A humorous repartee followed, with Seth answering our questions on a variety of subjects. Two serious notes: Alice Butts, who died last week, has already visited my father. And Dr. Instream, who would say “There is no Seth,” has not much longer to live.
