The whole personality has for a long time been waiting in another system of reality. There is no law that says that a personality must fully materialize within a given system, though it is usually wiser to do so.

All of this is not as complicated as it sounds. If you have time left over you help others. If a personality is between systems it loans its energy to others.

There was a particular time when your father said goodbye to you. You were two.

Your father was not simply your father. That identity that is his has grown, developed, changed its circumstances and its physical components many times, searching for the psychic soil that will best develop his own potentials.

There will be a joyous gathering together of his identity when the body dies. These are like the weaving together of mosaics, the weavings of the personality in and out, and no effect is meaningless nor without benefit. In this life you were meant to create, and teach. All creation is teaching. Your entity is older than your father’s. You and Ruburt and I have been connected many times. The gestalt, the conditions, have in the past been beneficial for us all.

Now, I am here in this room. I am also in another place in another time. Your father is in several dimensions at once. All of this is value fulfillment. It is growth.

I suggest you speak his name, his present name, three times, and touch him. This is only a temporary procedure, and a mark of our progress. He will quickly learn the procedure, and then there will be no need.

(10:20. Once again Jane sat quietly with her eyes closed. I followed Seth’s suggestion. As I touched her after speaking her name three times she came easily out of trance. But she had been far under, and looked a little disheveled, for she had been running her hands through her hair as she spoke, at times.

(As we talked Jane said she got something additional from Seth—to the fact that my first cousin, Ruth Butts, was a masculine personality. Jane then said that “days must have passed, as far as time went, for just an hour and a half.”)
