You will always find that Ruburt’s writings are precise barometers, giving excellent indications as to his inner state of mind; showing also the quality and direction of his beliefs at any given time.

My material, now being used in classes (ESP), will indeed draw other students. Not because it is mine but because truth can be sensed within it. It will provide a built-in impetus. It will also bind the students together as a group. There will be a group gestalt operating that should result in very definite benefits to them and to Ruburt. It is no coincidence that he waited this long to introduce the material for class study.

(Smile.) We have managed to do fairly well without anything like his full acceptance. We shall indeed do much better now. This simply means that he has taken several giant steps, necessary ones. But these will make future giant steps easier. There has been a change in our sessions. His more relaxed inner attitude has given us more available energy. Which we hope to use in a variety of constructive ways.

These points however should be made when they most apply. His performance, Joseph, was extremely heartening, since he trusted his own intuitions this time; that he did not pound his head against the wall, as in the past. He was correct in his afternoon insight. The book was his spiritual and intellectual battleground (the dream book), and this was paralleled by the physical symptoms; the physical battlefield. The inner difficulties therefore being worked out in several areas at once. The new book represents a sign of victory.

His classes will show the change. His students perfectly sensed his attitudes, and while he led them with his right hand, he cautioned them to hold back with the other. He offered much, but would only deliver a portion. The classes will expand, and with students who will fit in admirably, for now his position is a stronger one.

To save our friend the cat lover from undue torment and inner terror, I suggest you put the frightening monster safely behind a closed door.

This will take some acclimation on his part; for his manners and gestures and behavior is maintained but my consciousness is behind them. Now in this state I am indeed very close, although it will be more difficult for you to sense my presence.

When this method is thoroughly learned and Ruburt allows me greater control, then you shall notice a greater sense of immediacy and vitality. But as I come through to you more clearly in this manner then Ruburt and his own gestures and mannerisms will recede to a like degree.
