Now. Concerning the ill woman.

[... 7 paragraphs ...]

Now. Someone named Anna seems to be waiting for her also, waiting for Peg, and further back a Helen or Eloise. This I believe a maternal connection, a relative on the mother’s side.

[... 6 paragraphs ...]

Now… Within three years there will be entirely new openings for John, and also many changes of attitude. A strange connection in this respect, not at all clear; having to do with bricks or the laying of bricks, and a prior incident leading up to this that happened in 1963. There will be some relationship or venture, first thought of or encountered in 1963, that will find fruition within I believe a three-year period. Break, as we look in another direction.

(10:11. This was very odd, another break so quickly. It was brought on because our cat Willy, decided to jump up in Jane’s lap as she spoke in trance. Usually he pays the sessions no attention. Jane now found this somewhat distracting, and gestured to me to remove the cat. However, I believe she also called for a break because she had finished with material for John Pitre this evening.

(During break Jane told me that she had felt a sideways thrust of energy going out of her; she thought this probably an attempt at projection to Louisiana while in trance. She had also been aware of the same feeling as she sat quietly just before the session, she now told me; both attempts had been abortive however.

Now. I believe that the wife’s mother will die first, but I do not want this sent to the son-in-law. If it is not the mother, then the aunt. A woman very close to the wife, I believe, now, will die before her and be waiting for her.

[... 2 paragraphs ...]

Now. For your private information, middle or late March… I do not know whether this is the woman’s death (open eyes, pointing at me), but it is an event involving death of a woman (gestures) close to the wife, you see?

[... 2 paragraphs ...]

The man may have more on his hands, you see, than he does now. I do not see any point in informing him, because of the suggestions involved. Probabilities do operate, but I do sense this rather strongly, as if many probabilities pointed in this direction. (Pause.

(This ends the deleted material. Now we resume the regular session after break ending at 10:21.)

Now. Except for vacations and a few rest periods, sessions should be regular for overall effectiveness. Circumstances will not always be excellent. However in the long run the routine itself will help develop Ruburt’s abilities further, and a larger number of excellent sessions will take place.

[... 2 paragraphs ...]

Now. He enjoys having sessions to some degree for his students, for he responds to their desire and need, but he distrusts himself more when you are not present, you see. (Long pause.) This should vanish in time. It is a new experience for him. In such cases, you see, he must trust himself entirely to me, and since he distrusts himself and me to some varying degree, then there is some conflict. This is not of a severe nature.

[... 8 paragraphs ...]

Your cross now hangs freely and is not static, you see. It is a symbol of who you were in your last life.

[... 4 paragraphs ...]

This sculp represents more, literally, than your past life’s feeling, since it is, now, a mobile cross. There will be a change of simple relationships within the structure, and of color and texture, to follow. A less balanced but more maneuverable symbol—still based on this structure however.

Now. 1872, I believe.

[... 1 paragraph ...]

(We sat quietly for perhaps a minute. This is how I had received the data for the cross sculp. Now after a bit I thought I had a quick inner picture of a group of men gathered about a church pulpit, somewhat in the distance. Another view or two of a church interior followed, and I was aware, briefly, of empty seats. I kept in mind that suggestion could be operating here.)

We will now close our session. My heartiest wishes to you both.

[... 7 paragraphs ...]

Obviously, even if I could make it an iron cross that size would be incredibly heavy to hang from our ceiling. So I slowly built up a replica from layers of illustration board, and painted it black. The cross now hangs easily and lightly in a corner of our living room.
