Now. Ruburt wants to see me. He wants to sense me, and to believe that I exist in precisely those terms that I have told him.

Before this he did not dare rock the boat, to his way of thinking. He did not believe I was a survival personality strongly enough to request that I even try to convince him.

I am speaking now of the egotistical Ruburt, you understand. Now his desire will bring results. Before, no results would have been accepted by him.

He had been fighting his own intuitional knowledge. This is one of the main reasons that he did not publish a meaningful book earlier. He had the ability, very strong creative energies, but he did not have the idea or principle to unite him as a personality and focus his energies. This has been given to him, though it has taken work on his part.

(After sending J. P. a copy of the last session, the 388th, held December 20, we recently received a very pleased letter from him. He reported that his wife seemed better, that he himself understood more now, and that he had some unasked questions for Seth.)
