(Very recently, while falling off to sleep—in the hypnogogic state—Peter Murtough had a vision of his sister Julie falling. She fell rather heavily, he told us, and could have struck her head. He could not tell whether or not she hurt herself, but the vision has been on his mind since its occurrence. He wanted to know if Seth could help out here.)

There was some distortion in your picture. The tumble will not occur if no rugs are used. For safety’s sake I would suggest an eight-month period. No severe (underlined) difficulty would result in any case, but an ugly bruise (pause), I believe by the right ear, and some twisting of a foot.

For our long-haired blonde friend, (Marilyn Wilbur), shortly a new element, another person who will play a significant part in her life, for either a long or brief period. The person either connected to her, or to her friend—a new personality element. Certainly in the long run beneficial. (Pause.) I believe but am not certain, that the individual will not be originally from this area, or, if so, will be connected with another area. (Pause.)

You are becoming aware of higher levels of your own personality and you are trying to interpret them. The sensation was your own reaction to the psychological presence of your friend Ferd. He did not cause the sensations. But in another way he was their cause, since you interpreted his existence in that particular manner. Because of your own personality makeup you will lean to physical interpretations, and physical sensations in an attempt to understand nonphysical impressions.

What is unfortunate, however, is something else. High expectations are good, but they must not be used as a crutch. You are too unacquainted with your own abilities to attempt to use them in the way that you did.
