Now there is a tendency here emphasized because of youth. This tendency actually involves a lack of focus, or a lack in the direction of focus. Our young friend shifts the focus of his awareness from inner to outer realities very often, and without realizing that he does so.

As he matures and learns, and studies and works, he will then be able to do this when he wishes to do so. There are no significant unhealthy elements connected in this rather innocent regard for fire. Now. The shift of his consciousness is unsteady. He has no discipline over it, and is sometimes in a state of consciousness that is between. Training will allow a strong disciplined focus within either reality.

I am again, as I have said often, an energy personality essence, which means quite simply that I am a personality who does not now operate within the physical reality. I can at times impress your physical reality, but the focus of my existence no longer involves a three-dimensional psychological structure. (Pause.)

I have lived in physical terms within your three-dimensional universe, and I am aware of that universe. My main existence however is in a dimension of which your third-dimensional reality is only a part. I can therefore perceive, for example, portions of your future, simply because the future is only an illusion that exists in three-dimensional reality. (Pause.)

Now give us a moment. (Pause.) We will see what we can do with our spiritual firebug here.

The consciousness therefore would never be destroyed in reality. The most minute blossom within it would experience only an almost instantaneous change of form, and all of this would transpire in the breath of an instant. The individual petals would merely change, as the personalities of men change in what seems like a series of before and after reincarnations.

And no memory, you see, would ever be lost, and nor is any memory lost. The personality that you have now is simply the flower of the moment, not realizing that it has the knowledge of its own past histories; and all of this would be but one cosmic flower. Energy constantly renews itself. The various flowers could then be compared to the various dimensions through which action and consciousness know their own reality. The expansion of consciousness automatically leads you to understanding and compassion.

You want the answers to the wrong questions. You want me to deprive you of experience that you need, and in the reality in which you now exist, and in which you are learning very well to manipulate. You shall not get in the habit of having me tell you what will happen. I say this in all good humor and with due affection. (Pause, smile.) Do you understand?

Within your reality there are procedures with which you must deal. There are many occasions when a glimpse into your own future will be of benefit, and then you shall have them. (Pause.) Questions as to the nature of reality and of existence—these will serve you better, and I believe that you know this already. You are learning very quickly, for that matter.
