Ruburt’s habit is to direct his energies unstintingly focused in a more or less single direction. When he feels desolate, therefore, the desolation you see is almost complete to him.

A pale yellow on the walls rather than the white would be of benefit, in that room, you see. It is imperative that Ruburt throw considerable energy into his idea for classes; whether in writing or in psychic matters, that all available, practically available time and effort be given here to such an endeavor; that it not be adopted halfheartedly.

The predictions concerning money were made before Ruburt’s energies were so misdirected, thrown so suddenly against himself, that even I was appalled. They were based as you know on probabilities, and this tumultuous reaction, while a probability, was not a strong one. All these energies were suddenly swept in the wrong direction. They are now swinging to his aid, and you can now at least be thankful for their amazing nature, for the healthful turn will be ever more evident.

This evening’s present symptoms are the result of the fact that Friday is already thought of as a school day. These can be dissipated if Ruburt reminds himself before sleeping of his intent to work on the dream book tomorrow and Friday morning.

Your suggestion of time in the sun daily is excellent. An evening walk is also advantageous. He will literally soak up affection now as he soaks up the sun, and it will have equal healing effect. The resulting exuberance and strength will be solidly based, and add to your overall happiness as well as Ruburt’s. All of these help him release his energy and focus it in the proper directions.
