Now we find an old man with failing eyesight and partial cataract in the left eye, a hint of partial paralysis on the left side. A tremor from an old disorder, affecting the nervous system. The man from whom Ruburt received the letter. A marginal motor disturbance. A disordered personality, quite legitimate psychic abilities, however, fairly well developed. A missionary fervor, a congregation or student body of approximately 200, but in name only—the center, however, of about 26 participants. Indeed, a many-talented gentleman. A well-educated but misunderstood man, whose childlike tendencies are now in prominence. He can barely see out of one eye.

In connection with the brothers and the other letter. (Pause.) Entirely different temperments, but very close. Some years difference in their ages. 54 and 36, or that number of difference in their ages. (Pause. Eighteen years, then.)

(Long pause.) A small yard with lemons for the brothers. A pink stucco house, two bedrooms in the rear, not a new house. A peculiarity on the left side of the house. A flight of stairs inside, though it does not seem to be a two-family home. (Pause.) They used the board in the kitchen. There is some space between the house and the next structure on the right. Perhaps a lot. They are near the corner to the right, but not at the corner.
The building to the left is closer. It appears to be a garage, a private garage, but I do not believe that it is. It has a large square design at the front like a garage or large barn door or even a firehouse. They are not far from water. There are not many structures between them and the water. High grass for awhile, and some wooden posts and wire.

To some degree. Sand dunes of a sort. There, I have changed position. Now I am facing the house. Directly behind it, it seems clear of structures. It seems clear of structures to the water. But now to the right: the directions have changed now due to my position. The garage structure is now to my right, and behind it there are other structures leading down toward the water. And beyond, some dune area, a beach, the tide is in.

It is early evening. There are these fairly thin wooden posts, but not round (frown, gestures) rectangular at the top, you see. Perhaps hip level, to the left from my same position. The coastline is not straight here. Some sort of a bay effect, to the left. (Gesture right hand.) The land is like this, you see, not straight. The land curves and juts out again.

(This proved to be the end of the session. My questions hadn’t bothered Jane. Up until I asked if Seth was at the location, she saw what she described, but not clearly [or Seth did]. After, however, she felt bodiless, changed position to answer my questions more clearly and get a larger view. She had no awareness of the room in which she sat giving the session, yet of course she did [or Seth did] hear my questions and answer them. She felt that a partial projection took place, not a full one since only vision operated in the other location, rather than, say, all the senses. She felt suspended in air, but capable of movement.
