There is a woman close to him with whom he has a brotherly relationship, and who helps tend to his wants. He is about 54, and up and about, and still at work in his way, however. A Bombay connection and an involvement with some brilliant work as a young man. Now, give us a moment.

In connection with the brothers and the other letter. (Pause.) Entirely different temperments, but very close. Some years difference in their ages. 54 and 36, or that number of difference in their ages. (Pause. Eighteen years, then.)

Scrub. One perhaps extremely fastidious. Restrained. Not the one who wrote the letter. The one who wrote the letter is usually the less dominant of the two. (Pause.) A father, a very old man, still living in a place that is foreign or far distant from the brothers. (In Australia, we learned later.)

(Long pause.) A small yard with lemons for the brothers. A pink stucco house, two bedrooms in the rear, not a new house. A peculiarity on the left side of the house. A flight of stairs inside, though it does not seem to be a two-family home. (Pause.) They used the board in the kitchen. There is some space between the house and the next structure on the right. Perhaps a lot. They are near the corner to the right, but not at the corner.

(We had not checked any maps, etc., for the location of Chula Vista, California [where the brothers live], before the session of course. Before finishing these notes, however, we did check to find that Chula Vista is indeed near a bay; that the coast is not straight there.)
