The number 12; whether or not this is a street I do not know. Two men, somewhat younger than the stout man. Now by stout I do not mean monstrous, but overweight. Some connection with an account that has Midwest connotations, or is connected with the Midwest.

I am not sure of Ruburt’s physical interpretation here of my meaning. You will have to let the Midwest stand as is. It could however refer to something as simple as riding; but in connection with the account I do not mean the obvious trip, of course.

Physically, you have storm conditions, but for our session purposes the atmosphere is highly unstable and not reliable. It places me, though not Ruburt, under additional pressure. Such circumstances occur infrequently. They can cause accidents, within your system, sudden and not always advantageous. Sometimes mass alterations of mood and the exhaustion of energies.

Now I found intermission highly amusing. The conditions of which I have been speaking are one thing. As far as the effect of weather upon the moods of individuals, we do have something else. For the weather is created by you, on a subconscious level. The weather, at any given time, is a direct physical interpretation of the inner mass mind. You do indeed react, but you have already created the conditions, you see, and you then react to these in both psychic and physical ways.

February and a change of leadership. An affair will come to light that will shock many. An unfortunate affair indeed, and a breakdown. A man relieved of duties because of a severe health situation. And then after the health situation (gesture) policies or events from the past will make sense, but there will be a shocking element involved.

(Now Jane seemed to be whispering to herself and then mouthing the words just a bit louder, but so low I had to lean close.)

The breakdown will be emotional but it will show a physical nature affecting circulatory (hesitated on word) symptoms and the heart, but this will be secondary.

The situation will appear sudden. I do not believe death is involved. However: a breakup. Then the superiors who will have already suspected the man’s compulsive behavior, will see the true situation. There will be a scandal. The word may not be the best one, but a shocking occurrence.

(In this last segment of the session, Jane’s voice was extremely low, and dwindled almost into nothing as the last words were spoken. I was very near interrupting the session. It was strange to see her whispering the words to herself then trying to make them audible to us. Many were repeated in this way. Jane didn’t feel particularly well before the session. After finally coming out of the trance—this took awhile —she felt good. She knew the glass was going to fall dimly, but after that she lost contact. She felt that her face was different in a strange manner, that muscles were relaxing into different forms but no one noticed any change. I rather think that Seth put her in a deep trance for this highly charged material to protect her from the sort of thing she went through with Barbara when he wasn’t around.)
