[Jane’s notes:] Well, something terrific has happened, so I thought I’d write it down at once. The Something is subjective, but its effects have appeared so beautifully and effectively in physical terms, that the physical changes themselves add to the subjective joy, relief, and sense of direction.

(In here Jane said she had visual inner images, as of stars being born, etc.— attempts, she thought, to put the inner data into recognizable visual terms.)
