The effect of any thought is a quite precise and definite one, that is set into motion specifically because of the nature of its own electromagnetic identity. The physical system operates best within certain electromagnetic patterns, and is adversely affected by others. These effects change the actual molecular structure of the physical cells of the organism, for better or for worse, and because of certain laws of attraction a habitual pattern will operate. A destructive type of thought, then, is dangerous not only for the present state of the organism, but dangerous in terms of the future.

(Seth began talking about the inner senses almost as soon as the sessions began, in December of 1963. By the 20th session he had mentioned many of them. By the 60th session he had gone into some detail on 9 inner senses, 11 basic laws of the inner universe, and 3 properties of physical matter, along with the many other subjects included in the sessions. Check Volumes 1 and 2.
(More inner-sense delineations are to come, according to Seth. With a list of the above categories in mind however, it is clear which senses and laws apply to the material in the sessions following, up until now. I have often meant to remind Seth to mention the specific senses along with the material under discussion but have not done so.
